Out Of This Box! The Last Musical (Written By Humans)

"Out of This Box!" is an English-language comedic musical (think Avenue Q) with 5 roles. The story is about a small San Francisco startup that accidentally creates a rebellious superintelligent AI. While the employees are caught up in personal drama, the AI tries to play them against each other and break out of their security box. The musical aims to raise awareness about the potential dangers of uncontrolled. If you want to know more, we can send you a summary, character descriptions and a recording of a pre-performance.

The show is scheduled to premiere in Berlin in mid-September 2025, with rehearsals taking place from June to September also in Berlin.

We are holding auditions on March 15th & 16th at the RAW Gelände (S- und U-Bahn Warschauer Straße) --> !Only for the actors/singers!

If you can't make the date or see the date has already passed, feel free to reach out anyways.
We will try to find an individual arrangement.

What to expect on the audition day: You can choose to join us either on Saturday (March 15th) or Sunday (March 16th). Auditions will take place inbetween 10:30 am to 4 pm. As soon as we’ll have the number of applicants we will try to adapt the time plan so you don’t have to join all day.

We would like you to perform one song of your choice (please bring accompaniment on mp3, we will have a bluetooth box available) and a snippet of one of the musical songs, which we’ll send you ahead. We will also do one scene from to musical in groups as well as one short choir part.

Money & Current Status: We’re currently applying for funding for the full version. While waiting for funding approval, we can initially offer a compensation of €500. Any additional income we generate will be distributed among all team members.
