Ever wondered how all the new semiconductor power platform technologies are developed and finally enabled for IC design and production? We create the front- and backend technologies including the so called ‘Design Systems’ and provide them to our colleagues worldwide - including methodology, design packages, run sets as well as efficient design environments and flows. In order to coordinate all of these topics, we need you as an ambitious Project Director who is curious about new methods of working. You take over responsibility for the development and maintenance for a certain technology - covering steps from product idea to end of life. Our Project Management Career is meant to provide an attractive career opportunity for employees who focus on managing projects and functional leadership of project team members. In your new role you will: Lead a global and cross-functional project-team of experts Drive and execute (operational) decisions and ensure communication within the team as well as relevant stakeholders Plan, organize and control complex global development projects for Power Technology Platforms from project idea until end of product life-cycle Assure active risk management Report to Project Owner and to functional and local management Be fully responsible for budget, execution and target achievement of the overall project including subprojects Act as an interface between customers, business owners, production sites, foundries and subcons Be part of the project management community within the organization and drive project management methodology improvements By always putting the customer at the heart of your thoughts and actions, you ensure a strong and short feedback loop on requirements and create added value. Thus, you are able to balance interests of various stakeholders and use the creative potential they offer. Additionally, you translate the strategy into ambitious goals and make sure that it becomes a binding guideline for your teams’ actions. Over this you recognize opportunities and have a good sense for profitable ideas. You are best equipped for this task if you have: A degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Physics or similar At least 8 years of experience in semiconductor industry At least 6 years of experience in managing technical projects Work experience in planning, reporting and managing projects Experience in silicon process technologies, package technologies and product development desired Experience in problem solving techniques (e.g. 8D methodology) desired IPMA-C certification as a plus Fluent English skills with good German skills as a plus Intercultural awareness and ability to manage multicultural teams in different sites and segments Willingness to travel We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification.
