Streaming Architect (m/w/d), Kinesis Data Analytics in Berlin

Do you enjoy working with customers and are eager to enable others by guiding with your knowledge and expertise? Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Streaming Architect to be a trusted advisor to our customers and internal teams to craft cloud-based streaming solutions and solve large-scale stream processing problems.

This role is a senior role in the AWS Messaging and Streaming team. You will get a chance to work with some of the most prominent start-ups as well as some of the largest enterprises to help them architect and run stream processing solutions. It is a unique opportunity to help customers design and run their most challenging, large scale streaming applications. You will work directly on an engineering and product team get the opportunity to guide and influence the development of functionality and features to further improve the customer experience of running large production applications.

We are open to hiring in any of the following locations: London, Cambridge, Dublin, Amsterdam, Munich, and Berlin. Working remotely is supported, and oftentimes encouraged. Work hours are flexible and typically self-defined.


Key job responsibilities
* Work with customers to deploy cutting-edge solutions based on Apache Flink and Amazon Kinesis Data Analytics
* Owning and developing the internal expertise needed to continuously improve the customer experience of building and running stream processing solutions
* Developing technical content, such as reference architectures, sample code, and knowledge bases for application debugging and performance tuning, that can be used by our customers
* Enabling and scaling knowledge to solutions architecture, support engineering, and other teams
* Representing AWS in the Apache Flink community and by speaking at relevant events and conferences
